Pilgrimage to Infant of Prague, Poland and Medjugorje

Come and join Fr. Chris Alar, MIC on a European pilgrimage to see the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague, the sites of St. Faustina and Pope St. John Paul II in Poland, and Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain in Medjugorje.

Join us on a pilgrimage with Father Chris Alar, MIC! Father Chris will celebrate Mass each day and will be giving talks.

During our pilgrimage we will visit the Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague. We will see the convent of St. Faustina where she lived and died, and venerate her relics in the convent chapel. We will also visit the home of Pope St. John Paul II and see the famous Icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa. We will also visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp and Holocaust Museum.

Next, we will travel to Medjugorje where we will climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain and hear a talk by one of the visionaries (if available).

The cost of the trip is $4,900 per person (subject to change based on the Euro exchange and airline price), which includes roundtrip airfare from major US cities (including all taxes), room and two meals daily, and all transportation for site seeing.

Itinerary: Sunday - Tuesday, September 22 - October 1, 2024

Sunday, September 22
Depart from your city on your flight to Prague, Czech Republic. Dinner and breakfast will be served on the flight.

Monday, September 23
Upon arrival in Prague our tour guide will meet you and take you to our hotel for the night.

Tuesday, September 24
After breakfast we will board the bus and travel to the city of Prague for Holy Mass at the Infant Jesus of Prague Sanctuary located in the Church of Our Lady of Victory. After Mas,s you may visit the gift shop and museum. You will then have time for lunch. Mid afternoon, we will leave for our hotel in Brno, Czech Republic for dinner and overnight.

Wednesday, September 25, thru Friday, September 27
After breakfast, we will leave for Poland. We will visit Wadowice, the birthplace of Pope St. John Paul II. You will see the Basilica of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Sacrifice, where Karol Wojtyla was baptized and served as an altar boy. You may also visit the family’s apartment, now a museum located just across the street from the church.

We will visit Auschwitz Concentration Camp and Holocaust Museum.

We will travel to Jasna Gora to the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa. We will have Holy Mass at the chapel of the miraculous image of Our Lady of Czestochowa. This chapel has been visited by many Popes including John Paul II and Benedict XVI. It has also been visited by St. Faustina and St. Maximilian Kolbe. It is one of the holiest places in Poland. We will also have a guided tour of the Shrine.

We will have Mass in the chapel at St. Faustina’s Convent or the Shrine of Divine Mercy and a talk by one of the sisters of St. Faustina’s order. She will explain a little about the life of Saint Faustina and the revelations about Divine Mercy that she received from Jesus. You will have time to visit the chapel which houses St. Faustina’s remains, walk the lovely grounds around the convent, or spend some time in the Basilica or the Adoration Chapel. The 3:00 pm Hour of Mercy is celebrated at the Chapel each day with the nuns.

Saturday, September 28
Today we will travel to Medjugorje arriving in the afternoon. We will attend the 6 o’clock international Mass.

Saturday, September 28 thru Monday, September 30
While in Medjugorje, our group will attend the services at St. James Church, climb Apparition Hill and Cross Mountain, and hear a talk by one of the visionaries (if available). We will attend the evening prayer service which begins with the Holy Rosary. During the Rosary, Our Lady gives her blessing. This is followed by the remainder of the Rosary and Holy Mass. After Mass, the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary are prayed.

Tuesday, October 1
Depart for the airport for our flight back to the United States.
