(More Than) A Few Good Men

The blessing of new vocations continues to reveal itself for the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception, most recently in the Crypt Church inside the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 5-7, 2014.

Our friend, the videographer Giuseppe Mignano, captured the moments, which we share with you.

The following is footage from the Mass of Perpetual Vows on Sept. 5. Professing perpetual vows were: Br. Allen Alexander, MIC; Brother Keith Andre, MIC; Br. Michael Baker, MIC; Br. Gabriel Cillo, MIC; Br. Jonathan Inskip, MIC; and Br. Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC.

All but Br. Keith are pursuing the priesthood. Brothers Jonathan and Thaddaeus took a step closer to the priesthood when, on the following day, they were ordained to the transitional diaconate by the Most Rev. Barry C. Knestout, auxiliary bishop of Washington, D.C. Take a look:
