Marians Around the World

Special Report about our Worldwide Works

Join Fr. Joseph Roesch, MIC, and Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, as they take you for a journey around the world visiting a few of our Marians in other countries, including: Poland, Portugal, Rwanda, Cameroon, Kazakhstan, India, Philippines, and Brazil.

Cameroon

As Marians, we are tasked to "move for God and the salvation of men... to different places and live in any part of the world." You may not know that, today, the Marian Fathers serve in 18 countries in South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, in addition to the United States. Let's shine a spotlight on the spiritual and, in many cases, life-saving work that our Marian Fathers are doing, every day.

India

The Marian’s newest mission is in one of Christianity’s oldest regions: the subcontinent of India. There, in country of 1.3 billion people, only 2.3 percent are Catholic, and our Marian priests are following in the missionary footsteps of St. Thomas the Apostle and St. Francis Xavier.

Rwanda

As Marians, we are tasked to "move for God and the salvation of men... to different places and live in any part of the world." You may not know that, today, the Marian Fathers serve in 18 countries in South America, Europe, Africa, and Asia, in addition to the United States. Let's shine a spotlight on the spiritual and, in many cases, life-saving work that our Marian Fathers are doing, every day.

Philippines

The Divine Mercy Sunday celebration at the Marian Divine Mercy Shrine in El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, Philippines.

The devotion to Divine Mercy is strong in the Philippines, where the 3 o’clock Chaplet is broadcast on radio and television throughout the country. Our Marian Fathers participate in works of mercy and charity, especially to victims of natural disasters, and oversee a Divine Mercy shrine with a towering statue of the Merciful Jesus.
