A Prayer of Marian Consecration

A Marian Helper sent us this consecration prayer, offering everything to Our Lady.

A Consecration Prayer

By Helen Dickey

Holy Mary, Mother of God,
You were a housewife and you liked to clean.
Please clean two rooms in me:
My heart and my mind.
Please clean every wall, floor and ceiling
until they are perfectly clean and spotless even to way inside the corners,
leaving not one spec of dust or anything dirty --- nothing sinful.
The rooms will be a pleasure to be in, like freshly painted rooms are.
Then I give to you both rooms.
They are yours.
Use them please.
Put anything in them that you want.
Take anything out that you want.
Anytime you want.
Keep them clean forever and I your servant will help
you to keep them clean as best I can.
I will push away anything evil that wants to enter.
I will stand guard and faithfully use the Sacraments.
These rooms are yours:
My heart and my mind ...
And I am yours.
Amen.
