The second kind of knowledge which the Lord granted me concerns His justice. His justice is so great and penetrating that it reaches deep into the heart of things, and all things stand before Him in naked truth, and nothing can withstand Him.
- Diary of St. Faustina, 180
Lord, sometimes I try to hide from You like Adam and Eve did. I don't want You to see my sin because I don't want You to stop loving me. I forget that You are the Best Friend of my soul and that You love me more than anyone. On account of Your love for me, see my sin, but also see how much I desire to love You. See my weakness, but also see how much You love me. Give me the grace to always go to You, for I know that You will never refuse a contrite heart.
