Why Pray the Chaplet?

EDITOR'S NOTE: This is one in a series of testimonies from our readers who share their stories on the power of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. To share your own testimony, please e-mail us at [email protected].

I live in the Philippines. I received an e-mail from a Polish lady in the United States named Judy who asked me for help to find her Filipino best friend. They are both nurses by profession. Judy is a registered nurse while her friend, Andrea, is a nurse anesthetist. They had worked together in the States, but Andrea had to come home to the Philippines to visit her family, and that was the last of their contacts.

I was really surprised when I received Andrea's e-mail. I replied to her request, telling her that I will help to find her friend. In truth, I really didn't know what to do, so I suggested what seemed to me to be the only solution: to pray together the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

I can't remember the exact dates; maybe it was three weeks later that I received an e-mail from Judy that she found Andrea in Manila and that she was well, which was a relief since at that time Manila was experiencing a lot of upheaval. I was really happy for them.

When we pray, distance is not a hindrance. Now our communication is open. This is how powerful the Chaplet is.

My friends, I am urging you to pray the chaplet unceasingly. May this story inspire you.

God Bless to all.
