Itinerary
DAY 1: FLIGHT TO MEXICO CITY
Today marks the beginning of an exciting pilgrimage! You’ll board your flight to the vibrant city of Mexico. Upon arrival, you’ll step into a comfortable coach bus that will take you directly to your hotel. After checking in, unwind and enjoy your first evening in this beautiful city. Dinner and a cozy overnight stay await you in Mexico City!
DAY 2: MEXICO CITY / OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE
Get ready for a meaningful experience as we transfer to the awe-inspiring Shrine of Guadalupe. Here, we’ll visit the grand Basilica to celebrate Mass together. You will have an entire day to immerse yourself in prayer, explore the surroundings, and even indulge in a bit of shopping. Later, we’ll head to the bustling Zocalo Square where you can marvel at the stunning Mexico City Cathedral. Your evening will be spent back at the hotel, savoring dinner and relaxing after a fulfilling day.
DAY 3: TULPETLAC / SAN AGUSTIN / ACOLMAN / TEOTIHUACAN
Start your day with a visit to Tulpetlac, the site of the 5th apparition, followed by a heartfelt Mass at the historic Church of San Agustin Acolman, a stunning XVI century monastery. Next, we’ll explore the magnificent pyramids of Teotihuacan, including the Pyramid of the Sun, the Pyramid of the Moon, and the captivating Quetzal butterfly temple. Enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant complete with live music and traditional Indian dancers! After returning to the hotel for a brief rest, get ready for an exciting fiesta dinner filled with mariachis and live entertainment. You’ll spend another wonderful night in Mexico City.
DAY 4: TAXCO CITY AND CUERNAVACA
After checking out of our hotel but leaving our luggage in the capable hands of the hotel staff, we’ll set off for Taxco City. Our adventure begins with a stop at a silver mine, followed by a delicious lunch. Afterward, we will visit the breathtaking Cristo del Cerro for panoramic views of Taxco, coupled with a Mass at the beautiful Santa Prisca Church. You’ll have some free time to shop and explore before checking into our hotel in Taxco. The evening brings a festive dinner featuring traditional Mexican dances and live music, ensuring a vibrant atmosphere for your overnight stay.
DAY 5: CUERNAVACA AND XOCHIMILCO
We’ll head back to Mexico City and stop en route for a meaningful Mass at the XV century Cuernavaca Cathedral, built by Franciscans. Our next stop is the enchanting Xochimilco canals, where you can enjoy a picturesque boat ride. Your day wraps up with dinner and a relaxing overnight stay at our hotel in Mexico City.
DAY 6: EXCURSION TO PUEBLA
Prepare for an inspiring journey to the colonial town of Puebla! At St. Francis of Assisi Church, you’ll have the unique opportunity to see the uncorrupted body of Blessed Sebastian de Aparicio, known for his miraculous intercessions. We’ll also admire the Church of Santo Domingo, whose chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary is breathtaking. A special Mass at the Puebla Cathedral and a hearty lunch at a traditional restaurant will complete this splendid day. We’ll head back to Mexico
City for a farewell dinner accompanied by lively Mariachi music at our hotel. Spend another restful evening in Mexico City.
DAY 7: RETURN FLIGHT HOME
This morning, if time allows, we’ll gather for a farewell Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, celebrating the deep connections made on this journey. Afterward, we’ll transfer to the airport for our return flight home, filled with cherished memories and a renewed spirit!
