Do you have a devotion to a particular Saint(s)?
Obviously, my favorite Saint is our Father Founder, St. Stanislaus Papczynski. He’s definatley my go-to saint for practically everything and he’s really pulled through for me time and time again! I also have a strong devotion to St. Katharine Drexel-her feast day falls on my birthday and we both have strong Philadelphia ties.

Do you have a favorite story from your ministry?
There are so many…it’s rather difficult to pick a favorite. I suppose a good one is the story about how, during my first Mass as a deacon, a bird flew up and sat next to me as I proclaimed the Gospel and gave my first homily. He wanted a good seat to see all of the action! Apparently, he dropped dead at another Mass later that day. Whether or not that was some sort of commentary on my preaching is unknown.

Favorite quote from the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska?
There are many many to choose from, but I’d have to say the “O Blood and Water” prayer. In Diary 186, Jesus says that this prayer aids in the conversion of sinners. As a missionary and a priest, I pray this prayer often for the salvation of those entrusted to me, for my neighbors and for strangers and for myself as well.

Today Jesus said to me, I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns in My Heart for souls, and you will understand this when you meditate upon My Passion. Call upon My mercy on behalf of sinners; I desire their (93) salvation. When you say this prayer, with a contrite heart and with faith on behalf of some sinner, I will give him the grace of conversion. This is the prayer: (Diary, 186)

"O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of Mercy for us, I trust in You." (Diary, 187)

Favorite prayer to Our Lady?
The Rosary! I try to say multiple Rosaries a day. There are so many intentions and people to pray for and I know that the Rosary is a powerful tool for spiritual growth and grace. It doesn’t take too long for me to say it, but I always feel better afterwards.
