God's 'Third Attribute'

The third attribute [of God] is love and mercy. ... It unites the creature with the Creator. This immense love and abyss of mercy are made known in the Incarnation of the Word and in the Redemption [of humanity], and it is here that I saw this as the greatest of all God's attributes.
- Diary of St. Faustina, 180

Lord, my life gets consumed by the many commitments on my calendar. Help me to cut through my busy-ness and to emulate the greatest of all Your attributes.

Help me to bring love and mercy to bear in all I do - at work, at home, among friends and strangers, and throughout my trials and suffering.

I know You hold me accountable. Every day, every moment, I am to love without limit, forgive without reparation, and give without seeking return.

Christ, The Divine Mercy, in Your love and mercy, help me to imitate You!
