Blessings, Br. Allen!

Maybe you've met Br. Allen Alexander, MIC, our intrepid, zealous, kindly, whip-smart and witty seminarian from Muskegon, Michigan.

The Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception are pleased to announce that Br. Allen will be ordained to the transitional diaconate on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. God willing, it will be the final step on the way to his priestly ordination.

Have you got a message to send Br. Allen? Congrats? Prayers? We invite you to do so down below.

December 11 is the anniversary of the founding of the Marian Fathers of the Immaculate Conception. On this day in 1670, St. Stanislaus Papczyński left the Piarist order and made his oblatio, his self-offering, to defend the Immaculate Conception.

Saint Cecilia's feast on Nov. 22 is a good day to reflect on what music is and does - particularly sacred music.
