To Jesus through Mary

Today, the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, many of the faithful around the world consecrated themselves to Jesus through Mary.

Here at the Marian Helpers Center, on the grounds of the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, director of the Association of Marian Helpers, led a "coast-to-coast" consecration prayer to Jesus through Mary.

In the simplest of terms, by means of Marian consecration, we give ourselves to Mary to be formed into the image of her Son, Jesus.

"The Association of Marian Helpers is dedicated to knowing and proclaiming the mercy of God, and the key ally, the key person to help us, is Mary Immaculate," explained Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC, author of the bestselling Marian consecration book 33 Days to Morning Glory: A Do-It-Yourself Retreat in Preparation for Marian Consecration.
