Do you have a devotion to a particular Saint?
I have a particular devotion to José Sánchez del Río, a young man from México who was a martyr.

Do you have a favorite story from your ministry?
In 2006, while I was a chaplain at the Franciscan University of Steubenville, we made a mission trip to Honduras with the young people of the university. I was part of a team of five people. We walked for eight hours up to the mountain through the jungle. I could never have done that without other people taking care of each other.

Finally, we arrived at a group of small “houses” inhabited by families where we spent four wonderful days. There I celebrated the Holy Mass. The last time a priest celebrated Mass there was 40 years ago. I will never forget those days of so much material poverty and so much spiritual joy.

Favorite quote from the Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska?

God's love is the flower – Mercy the fruit. (Diary, 949)

Favorite prayer to Our Lady?
The Memorare.
